J and F Painting is a family owned and operated business, based out of Olympia, Washington.  J & F Painting was established in 1996.  The Owners are brothers, Jerry Shelley and Frank Valimont.

J and F Painting has an honorable reputation that has been built on more than 30 years of combined experience and expertise! We take great pride in the work that we do, making sure we do every job with the best materials and that all labor is performed right the first time. All jobs are performed and supervised by us.

J and F Painting always provides professional painting services for home owners, property managers, commercial building owners and general contractors throughout Thurston and Mason counties. We always provide our customers Free Estimates that are accurate and based on our experience completing similar types of projects. We strive to balance the needs, priorities and budgets of our clients with our commitment to service and industrial excellence. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Frank Valimont completed a 2 year apprenticeship at a trade school from 1982 – 1984 where he became a Professional Painter, followed by 4 years of experience as a painter’s apprentice, before becoming a Journeyman Painter. Frank has also obtained a degree from Bates Technical College in the study of, Cost Estimating and Blue Print Reading.

Some of Frank’s experience is with AAA Painting Inc., where he was contracted for 12 years, before opening J & F painting in 1996.  We now specialize in residential and commercial painting

Jerry Shelley also completed a 2 year apprenticeship at a trade school from1986-1988 where he became a Professional Painter. Some of Jerry’s experience is with Hoek’s Painting, where he worked for a painting contractor for 13 yrs.
